Today, October 21, the head of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbek Sabirov, met with Gulzada Sarybaeva, the CEO of Nukura Pro LLC, and Anvar Medelbek uulu, the Executive Director of the Association for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Kyrgyzstan. The parties discussed the implementation of an investment project to build a dairy processing plant in the city of Shopokov, located in the Sokuluk district of Chui region.
The total investment volume of the project amounts to $7.7 million. Of this, $5.4 million will be financed under a credit agreement established with the Russia-Kyrgyz Development Fund. The funds will be used for the construction of the plant, the purchase of technological equipment, and construction and installation works.
"Attracting investment to the production sector is crucial for the sustainable economic development of the country. The implementation of such projects contributes to the creation of new production capacities, increases in job opportunities, and the development of domestic businesses. The National Investment Agency is ready to assist investors in resolving issues that arise during project implementation and promoting promising initiatives," emphasized Ravshanbek Sabirov.

As part of the project, the production of pasteurized and ultra-pasteurized milk, cream, and milk cocktails is planned. Up to 50 new jobs will be created at the plant, and an increase in demand for raw milk from local farms and an increase in tax revenues to the budget are expected.
The produced products will be delivered to the domestic market and also exported to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. This will create conditions for the development of the domestic dairy processing sector and expand Kyrgyzstan's export opportunities.
During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of the project were discussed, including the possibility of applying tariff preferences for the import of technological equipment and the inclusion of the investment project and relevant commodity positions in the Register of Investment Projects. This issue will be considered in accordance with the procedures established by law.
